Source; I couldn't find any specific reference to a daily upload limit but did run across this Lifehacker post about a Firefox addon called Gspace that takes advantage of the amount of storage provided by Gmail. In their FAQ they mention that

It may indicate that you have reached the Gmail sending limit for the day. You could be sending emails through IMAP or POP email clients (Apple Mail, Outlook), or you are sending emails from different aliases or you are using multiple add-ons for sending emails. Gmail allows you to send attachments up to 25MB per email. You can send multiple attachments in an email if they do not add up to 25MB.
